  • I phone the day I send them Special Delivery post. Then I phone them a few days after that. I keep the sd recites in a safe place.

Seems strange, if it was just lost, then you would have more likely got a termination letter than another ESA50.
  • strange isnt the word

dwp said money is going in friday as planned and no suspensions on my account so my status is the same. just have no idea why this is happening

theyve asked for the file back which im guessing is the original ESA50

yes maximus got it,it was signed for and i checked online and signature was there

i cant even imagine whats going on,any thoughts ?

    im not worrying strangely
  • hi,an update

somebody from the assessment part of the DWP phoned but kept going to voicemail (found out some samsungs do that) i dont know anyway i phoned back could only speak to an adviser as couldnt put me through to assessment but a note had been left on the system for me

ive been told i do not need to fill out the new esa50 and the dwp have recommended that i dont need a medical, it just has to go somewhere else for approval and thats it

ive never heard of such a thing now they use Maximus, the call handler seemd confused to but said thats what the updated note says,he did say something about a USC nothing to do with UC) and a pv marking

frankly i was not well this morning if i had felt better i would of quizzed like mad

he said i should get a letter in a few weeks, im gonna give it a month then get in touch if i dont hear and payments stay the same

i really hope thats the case but seems very strange

It's nothing to do with DWP who has a work capability assessment. It's the health assessment providers that decide this.
  • well the dwp requested my file back Maximus said and so its now nothing to do with them anymore

for some reason the dwp have taken over the whole thing

im as confused as the next person

PV mark meant Possible Violence in the department I worked for.....
  • ah that makes sense as i had a conviction for assault a long time ago and was put on my esa 50

also when i first claimed it approx 4-5yrs ago i had a paper decision and i came under a descriptor for something like that and said could be a danger (words to that effect to others)im wondering if thats why

    might give them another call

    thank you
  • PV= Potentially Violent. Now replaced by UCB which is Unacceptable Customer Behaviour. Same thing but sounds more PC. Maximus will never do home visits with those marked UCB and rarely face to face. ATOS were/are the same.
  • blimey i had no idea,so anybody that has been violent and found guilty has a pass so to speak

    makes sense (i think)

    thanks
