That's fine to do as a backup exercise ... but the OP's previous letter was perfectly fine and easily interpreted as a data correction notification. :)

I'd do as you suggest, but start the communication with "As you have failed to act on my previous written communication (dated XXXX) to correct the data you hold about me ...... etc. etc." :)
  • Have done as suggested- thank you

Complain to the SRA that one of their solicitors is deliberately abusing the legal system by repeatedly sending letters to an old address despite you telling them and their clients of your new and current address. Include copies of your correspondence and their replies as proof.

Have you complained to your MP yet. I suggest you also complain to Mrs May reminding her of her pledge to stop this behaviour.
It's not like she has anything else on her mind at the moment. ;)

Have you complained to the landowner about the disgraceful behaviour of their agents?
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

  • I have complained to the ICO and the SRA. I cannot complain to the landowner as BAlegal state it is a legally privileged document which will be disclosed in court. However I have put a FOI into the local council and am waiting for their response.

A quick update. BWlegal have now responded to me twice, in writing. They have acknowledged my SAR request and then sent the data. BOTH LETTERS WERE SENT TO MY OLD ADDRESS!

    Complain the the SRA.

Such incompetence is inexcusable and could lead to a CCJ by default.

    Then complain to your MP.
