Payments into and out of LBG this morning are just starting to be executed here. At least they are now answering the phone. Nothing more annoying than "We are unable to take your call <click>"
Still, did get through - and the (initial) compensation has just been deposited.0 -
The issue was just Lloyd’s banking group who had an issue with faster payments, affecting payments both in and out. They throttled traffic to 10% of usual capacity while they worked out what the problem was.
I understand the system is fully back online now but has a backlog to process.
This information is from internal comms issued from another bank, coming to me from a friend who works there.0 -
Latest message from Lloyds via online account messagingFaster Payments are now being processed, however due to the issues experienced today there may be a delay in processing some of the payments that customers made earlier in the day.
We continue to advise customers that they should not submit a second payment, to avoid duplicate payments being processed.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused today and assure customers they will not be out of pocket as a result of this issue.0 -
Payment I attempted yesterday still not gone 24hrs later. While mine is no hardship just a nuisance, what of cases where payment deadlines have been missed or there have been other knock-on consequences? It may just be a technical glitch to banks when they screw up their systems but to some affected it's no game:(0

Same here, but at 09:30, LBG changed its stance. Yesterday it was "all instructions will be executed, so don't file repeat instructions." This morning: "We've cleared the entire backlog, so if it hasn't happened, make the payment again"

same here - not checked since about 10am but the transaction still hasn't gone through, but the messaging has disappeared (that could be pilot error though I might need to change some settings maybe - but there was a 'delete this message' box which I definitely didn't click)
Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?0
