Parking charge

Hi there.
So i got a parking charge few months ago from a private firm (excel parking) for been parked in a disabled bay without a badge , which i wrongly did admittedly .
BUT on the charge i got they put the wrong car model down , they put FORD FUESTA instead of FIESTA so i appealed as i thought this may make it invalid.
The reply to my appeal said " We note your comment that the model is incorrect and therefore the charge is invalid. We must advise this does not make the charge notice invalid"
What do they mean by this and should i pay it or will i win this case?
Thanks guys

It means that their misspelling of the model name is of no consequence.
You may well win the case but it won't be on that feeble point.
As you appeal has been rejected, prepare your self to be bombarded by debt collectors letters.
Post again on this thread when you receive either a Letter of Claim or official court correspondence.
While waiting you might want to read the NEWBIES thread to better understand the game you are now caught up in.
Did you identify the driver in your appeal?
Perhaps you can post the text of that appeal here?0 -
