You have a valid claim.babyblade41 wrote: »Excellent thank you for that... I wasn't sure if I had to put up and put it down to experience or whether I did have a valid claim
Whether you'll succeed, and whether it's worth pursuing all the way to court, is another matter.......0 -
Had the walls where the wardrobes were been left in a good state, i.e. no nail/screw holes, decorative condition the same as the rest of the room.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

That shows you have a vendor who doesn't care what they do. Is there anything else they didn't leave or didn't do properly? If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Do you have any pictures of the wardrobe before it was removed? If you spend several thousand on a custom job done by a master joiner with high quality hardwood you'll struggle to claim the cost if it was replacing a cheap prefabricated job made with particle board. Proving the state it was in when the contract was made will be crucial to a successful claim.0

Still waiting for a full set of keys, but have given up on that a couple of days ago and changed the lock...they have still yet to hand them in0 -
Having just read your "removals saga" thread, this seems to have been a most unfortunate and stressful moveIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

One wonders why they bothered to remove the fitted wardrobes, unless they had exactly the same size bedroom to fit them in.
You were right to change the locks. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
