Final cashback due. How can i make savings on the last 6 months of the contract?

I am on Orange Dolphin £35, 500 mins, 500 texts with 14 months half price deal with CPW ( cash back 4th, 8th and 12th bills) £245 in total cash back.

Contract began on the 21/10/06 so just over twelve months ago. I am due to claim my final cash back cheque from CPW with November months orange bill.

I'm really confused, do I contact CPW orange or orange direct and ask them to downgrade my tariff to save me money on the remaining six months of the contract or will this reduce my bartering potential in relation to retention deals? Any advice would be appreciated. :A

I do not believe that there is such a thing as CPW Orange.

The less you spend, the worse the retention deal.
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.
  • There isn't. O2 is the only network which cpw administers itself on monthly contracts. It's Orange direct - 150 from the handset. Sounds a little odd the cashback is all given in the first 12 months with this company on a (presumably) 12 month contract, albeit not that generous. Depending on which part of cpw the contract came from and on which set of t&c downgrading after the "minimum period" may (or may not) nullify all cashbacks - though if they have already been received this probably doesn't matter!

It dounds like cpw iteself rather than on of its subsidiary divisions - and I don't think any of their t&c alloow for downgrading where cashback entitlements are concerned. I'm surprised you haven't found all this out long ago!
