Trump confirms the NHS will be on the table in any future trade deal.

That's what awaits us outside of Europe.

    Great job Brexiters.

    Great job.
  • Wasting money on rent... You should remember that mortgage interest, stamp duty, legal fees and all the other costs that come with buying a property are money down the drain, too.

You'd need to run some numbers and compare the cost of buying vs renting. But it's probably not a discussion for this thread.

Actually as first time buyers we won't be paying any stamp duty!

And May stated that in negotiations both sides decide what to negotiate on, basically saying hands off.

There is little appetite in the Eu for renegotiation and I don’t blame them.
The WA has been voted out 3 times and when May tried to compromise she managed to displease both sides.

I hate to say I agree with Blair but this is now a binary decision.

I would like to see us get on with a 2nd referendum as there are people who feel they were lied to and would like to change their mind.

Bear in mind that thee are plenty of people who voted remain that have changed their minds too, the general attitude of the eu after hearing that we had voted leave certainly started me changing my mind from remain to leave.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Because what May states carries enormous weight. As we have had the chance to witness many, MANY times

Arundhati Roy on C4 news pointed out that Trump has arrived to administer to Britain as if it were his colony the same way as the Queen once did to hers.

How the tables have turned. What rich irony as the Orange Buffoon blithely tells his vassal which parts of their country will be carved off to retain the crumbs of American goodwill.

How better off we would be staying in the EU.

National treasure Elton John has brickbats for Brexit.

    https://www.theguardian.com/music/2019/may/31/elton-john-brexit-not-imperialist-english-idiot-verona

The much loved global icon reportedly claimed:
‘I am a European – not a stupid, imperialist English idiot’

Do not be ashamed Elton. You are among the best of us. We stand with you and against Brexit Flat Earthers.

How much experience do you have in commercial negotiations, especially those in which one party has much more leverage?
If the Americans say: "no NHS, no deal", what will the Brits do?
Or do you think that the Americans need a trade deal with us more than we do?

Bear in mind that thee are plenty of people who voted remain that have changed their minds too, the general attitude of the eu after hearing that we had voted leave certainly started me changing my mind from remain to leave.
Can you please elaborate on this 'general attitude'? The EU has been very clear from the start: you cannot have the benefits of membership without its obligations. It is shocking how 'not giving us what we want' is seen by some as a sign of intransigence or what not.

The threat to the NHS by Trump re any Trade agreement will kill off Brexit in jig time. There is no upside.

It’s as if Trump WANTS the UK to stay in the EU, or maybe he thinks the Brexit Bunch are just as thick as he is.

The amount of name calling, smears, vitriol and general unpleasantness on this page is rather disheartening. Especially from those who appear to be the type of person who fall on the Labour side of politics (gentler and kinder?).

If we had voted to Remain, would Remain supporters be in favour of going 'full fat' EU and dismantling our national political structures? For the record, I would have supported that if the vote had gone that way. Why have another layer of bureaucracy? Our MEPs would actually have to do something of value.

Irrespective of the enormous disparity in power between the UK and the US, we sell much more to the US than we buy from them.

This puts us in exactly the same position of weakness with America that the Brexiters have been saying gives us a position of strength over the EU.

Except the EU have closed ranks.

Who do we close ranks with? Theres a cold winter coming for Brexiters.
