The investigation into Aaron Banks was blocked by Theresa May, the government made the argument in court in December that it had all happened too long ago and we've moved on.
But the people will demand to be made whole when the public inquiry finds any wrong doing, so we should reset back to EU membership. This will be the new hillsborough, we can keep the government in court for years.
Bercow has allowed the vote to go ahead on 50% of Theresa Mays deal, things are hotting up. I'm not entirely sure whether it passing or not is good though.
I could see support going down as it's revealed as the liars brexit, with no future relationship in writing and either Gove or Bojo calling the shots.0 -

I clearly remember sitting on a train for hours because because the driver suddenly went on strike. No-one in their right mind wants Momentum running the country, that is what would happen if Khorbyn got in, he is their puppet pure and simple, your socialist utopia does not exist and cannot exist, it is just too expensive.
Remain said they would be the status quo. But that can never be the case with the eu, they are forever producing new laws, new regulations. Did anyone get to veto their new ruling on changing the clocks? If we were to remain there would be protests from one end of the country or the other whichever way we went. Iirc we as a country tried to do this before but Scotland were unhappy about it.
No, you don't know what you are getting with the eu, when we joined the common market that is what we joined, we did not join the beurocratic monster that it has become, the one that wants to rule every part of our life.
I presume you haven't attempted to use a British train in the last 20 years as sitting, or more likely standing, on them for hours while they go nowhere is a fairly frequent occurrence.
The main difference is that in real terms the tickets cost five times as much and the profits all go to private owners, some of which are the nationally run train companies of of other countries.0 -
We're not stopping you from leaving, I'll take you to the airport myself.
For the hard of thinking, what you imagined you were voting for when you sided with the racists and the elite, isn't what is going to happen. We're not going to be bullied by you, so just wind your neck in.
But you'll still shout at others and bully them:rotfl:This whole process has been frustrated by the ERG, DUP and Theresa May has been pandering to their idiocy.. It's going to take a long time for the grown ups to take over and sort out a realistic way forward.
Nope the whole process has been frustrated by Parliament as they have clearly gone again the outcome of the referendum and their own choice, passing A50 legislation.I think you have to choose one or the other, not changing it twice a year. I don't know if I like the idea, but it's pretty stupid to hate it just because it's foreigners telling us what to do. I'm getting fed up with people acting like we're North Korea
So you are finally seeing the futility in fighting the will of the people:T We decided leave BTW so no changing you mind twice a year now!Democratically elected MEPs voted for it, why do you expect a veto on everything?
I also often wonder why remainers do as well:)0 -
Maybe this is where the problems stem fromTusk : ‘You cannot betray the six million people who signed the petition to revoke Article 50, the one million people who marched for a People’s Vote. ‘Or the increasing majority of people who want to remain in the EU. ‘They may not feel sufficiently represented by UK Parliament but they must feel that they are represented by you in this chamber. Because they are Europeans.’

Someone needs to tell him there was not a majority in the referendum.0 -

Obviously because it's not 1971 anymore, let's see if you can override your cognitive bias and see if you can come up with why I might think that is relevant.
As far as I'm aware, even 40+ years of climate change haven't appreciably altered the length of days / nights throughout the year in this part of the UK either.0 -

I guess he thinks the climate could change in a similar way to a nuclear winter. As far as I'm aware, even 40+ years of climate change haven't appreciably altered the length of days / nights throughout the year in this part of the UK either.
You quoted my question about cognitive bias, so I'll assume this is your attempt and the answer to my question is no. One easy reason which everyone should have got why things are different since 1971 is that car head lights are better. Do you concede that point, or is that too much for you? Is it possible you could think of some others?Thrugelmir wrote: »The wonders of misinformation on social media. :T
I don't use social media, so I have no idea what you're talking about. I was referring to a report in the Daily Mail, which I agree is normally just racist lies but this doesn't support their prejudice so it might have some weight. See someone can read the Daily Mail without being a red faced shouty person who hates all immigrants (apart from the ones they have met, who are the exception).0 -
How do you feel able to comment upon what I imagined?
Because you don't seem happy with the type of brexit that parliament is going to deliver. But you'll still shout at others and bully them:rotfl:
I'm not shouting at anyone, another leave lie.Nope the whole process has been frustrated by Parliament as they have clearly gone again the outcome of the referendum and their own choice, passing A50 legislation.
They passed Article 50 on the basis that they would have control over the final deal, which they were guaranteed by the gina miller case. It's not their fault that TM set out her red lines so there was no possible compromise. The deal is unpopular with leave voting MPs, including Boris Johnson who is tipped to be the next prime minister. So you are finally seeing the futility in fighting the will of the people:T We decided leave BTW so no changing you mind twice a year now!
Well the first referendum had illegal funding & lies told by the leave campaign that in a normal binding election would have been illegal. As they were in an advisory referendum then the rules aren't as strict, so you can lie with impunity. It has no democratic validity.
Secondly, there are a load of pro EU people registering to vote now and a lot of women have switched from leave to remain (men seem to have pretty much stayed where they were). Plus alot of people didn't bother to vote to remain because they thought there was no need (this is the reason leave voters are wetting their underwear about the possibility of another referendum). So for that reason the will of the people now is likely not the same as it was three years ago. If we don't get the result we want then we'll continue fighting for it until we do.I also often wonder why remainers do as well:)
I don't want to veto anything, I just want a fair vote on the EU and you know it wasn't fair. That is why you keep trolling.0 -
The vote was only unfair in your eyes because it didn't go the way you wanted. The fact that both sides lied doesn't seem to bother you.The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0
