Same problem for me. I have an existing ISA with Cynergy and decided to open a current account and they wanted certified picture ID. What a load of crap, I told them I was already a customer with them and complained but no response yet. Grrrrrrrrr:mad:0

I have an account with them and trying to open another one and they want the whole ID drill. Very onerous - don't think I can be *rsed.0

I just closed mine yesterday. Their authentication app is useless as is trying to contact them. Other easier places to save0

Wow - this is an old thread. My wife did persevere but even then Cynergy managed to open two accounts at the same time for her - she just funded the one account and let the other one die on the vine. My son on the other hand was asked to do the ID for Cynergy for the second time as the first hadn't worked they told him after he sent his proof of funds and so he did give up and instead did Momentum in a few minutes.
