Am currently having a complete nightmare .Zeus started bleeding out after his op, n it wouldn't stop. They operated on him twice n have said he's got a clotting issue. He's been sedated in the vets overnight n the bleedings stopped, but they're doing more tests on him today When he comes home he needs to keep really quiet, so i'm having to kennel Bon, as they're crazy together Absolutely gutted

Huggles to all the poorlies n peed offs today xx"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Hi everyone, it must be the week for many exercise classes to start up again. I and my friend went to the new yoga class last night, and I enjoyed it far more and it was a bit more strenuous than the previous one. Maybe some teachers underestimate what "mature" people are capable of? It was a free trial session for anyone new, which was a nice gesture and I'll definitely keep going.
Yesterday the flat had a good clean, and this morning I did the first Reiki swap of the year, and we've pencilled swaps in fortnightly up until April. It's great to lie back and surrender to total relaxation.
TA I hope you enjoy the performance. Glad you've picked up from the rocky start to the day, aod. Taff, my very good friend who had chemo and radiotherapy last year has her hair back, it was quite a milestone when it was profuse enough to do without a head covering, whether wig or cap.
Tomorrow I'm joining a new to me craft group, quite unimaginative I know, I'm taking the knitting. I can't justify spending any money on materials until I deplete current projects and more of the yarn stash. None of which I regret buying as there is no longer a wool shop locally.
Food today is very straightforward. I had a banana, almond, kale and cinnamon smoothie for breakfast, carrot and ginger soup for lunch, and will be roasting two chicken legs for tonight and having them with sauteed Savoy cabbage and orange. That'll take care of tomorrow's main meal too.
I hope the rest of the day goes as well as it possibly can for you. xxx0 -

Yes healing thoughts and love to Zeus and all of you who need pepping up. Busy day of dog walking, bit of Ald! shopping - nice pot of 5 daffodil bulbs starting to come through for £1.69 which I'll take to a friend when I visit on Thursday. The sugar junkie in me also sneaked a pack of their shortbreads for 45p - surprisingly, made with actual ingredients like butter and sugar rather than palm oil and other unquestionables, how do they do it for the money?
Visited a friend who hasn't been well and went to say Happy Birthday to a great aunt in the local churchyard who would have been 119 today! Has a human ever lived that long?
Off now to make potato pastry for some cornish pasties for the monster appetite that is my OH to take to work when he can't be bothered to make sandwiches.
See you all soon.
