Hi all,
I thought I'd post this as some folk might find it useful.
As many of you know 192.com is well known for its open electoral register. However they aren't the only ones:
Ancestry
search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=61579 - you need to contact them directly via e-mail.
Freelookup
If you search for your name on freelookup.co.uk there is an option to automatically remove your details.
Trace Genie
They have a form similar to 192 on their website: tracegenie.com
Trace Smart
You have to e-mail them: developer.tracesmart.co.uk/peoplesearch interestingly they have the same registered address as whitepages.co.uk and peoplesearch.co.uk who have now closed their websites and no longer offer electoral register searches.
T2A
Again you need to contect them via a form on their website: t2a.io/contact
People Trace UK
There is a form on their website: searchukelectoralroll.com its run by Ian Hurst aka Martin Ingram read about him here: wantedianhurst.blogspot.com and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Ingram
it would be good to hear about people being able to remove their details from this website as he used to charge people to remove their details or remove it for free if they provided his organisation with more details about themselves. I guess things have changed with GDPR.

Has anyone had any success removing themselves from any of these sites? Tracesmart aren't being very helpful.0

Found a few new sites:
http://www.theukelectoralroll.co.uk - no form to delete details
https://www.ukphonebook.com/er_search no form to delete details
&
https://www.gbgplc.com/products/gbg-connexus/ - similar to Lexis Nexis - no real option to remove details.0 -
Just tick the box on the electoral role registration form to say you don't want to be on the open register0

That is what I do now. However it got ticked once and these companies now have my details. Most of them are being very difficult to get me to remove my details.
Ironically 192.com is probably the easiest of the companies to remove your details from, despite all the bad publicity they got years ago.0
