Adblue is over 67% water, some of our less than environmentally friendly truck drivers have been filling their tanks with pour water.
Indeed they have and many have found that unless they get the adblue system mapped out of the ECU it goes into limp home mode as many systems can detect when the fluid is out of spec and whilst it'll run for a short time like that without reducing power it won't indefinitely. Others have also found that it shafts the entire system including the injectors so when they've been caught its cost them £1000s to fix.

If the tank is one you can get access to fairly easily I would be of the "suck out as much as possible" brigade, refilling with Adblue and continuing to top it up at every opportunity to ensure what you put in is diluted as much as possible.

    Thanks:

I tried to put the tube in tank to syringed it out but had some resistance, would there be a bend in the pipe?
