Access to another phone
Options
Please bear with me on this as I am not very clued in to phone technology. My sister is going through a divorce. Before the divorce began, her husband was using her old phone as his own.He was able to track her messages, emails and texts. She went to an Apple store to block his access to her phone, on solicitor's advice, but she thinks he has been able to get round this because she saw him looking at her emails and texts on his phone.
Her husband is not very clued in with phone technology either but he has a friend who works in a mobile phone store who is very knowledgeable about phones and security.Could he have overridden the changed security code imposed by Apple?
Any advice about what to do in this situation please?

I am no expert, but I think a hard reset will solve this IF it's really the case.but she thinks he has been able to get round this because she saw him looking at her emails and texts on his phone.0 -
Either it was a silly advice or she misunderstood it. It's impossible to get access to the phone from another device unless some rogue app is installed to her phone.

On occasions post IOS updates I can see texts/call logs for all the familys phones on my Apple account - no need for any rogue apps in this situation but if they are on the same Apple account then time to create a new one for her alone0 -

To see the e-mails he needs access (password) to her e-mail account, not to her phone. Change the password.
The OPs friend should revoke access in her settings.0 -
OK, I stand corrected then.0

it also depends what email address service she is using, e.g gmail.
She should change her email password0 -
If he previously had access to her phone and email, he could have set up her email to forward to his email - you can do this with gmail and probably with some other emails as well.
So she should check if her email is being forwarded.0
