No sign of spiders for a couple of days so maybe thats it - as you were........
Curry WAS good, would make it again, and will tomorrow to use up the paneer0 -
Went out this morning - lots of layers on still as really chilly. Had a voucher for 50p off cheese at the C@@p so bought a big block that was already half price at £2.50 so got it for £2. Planning to make mac cheese and sausage bake for the family so the cheese will come in handy. Also picked up big old furry boy's monthly supply of pills and got a few other bits and pieces then went for a coffee.
The post had come when I was out and the PPI cheque for £115.14 was there :j:j I'll pay that in on Tuesday when the banks reopen. It'll go to the T S B account as am trying to build that up.
Made some humous so am probably exuding garlic now as it was tasty  Fennel and mushroom risotto for tea.
Read my book and finished it and watched some TV I'd recorded so a bit of a lazy rest of the day.0 -

Quite a warm day yesterday which was a welcome change so I headed out to post an online sale as the PO was open even though it wouldn't 'go' until today. Then headed to the local Garden Centre clutching a 'half price on one plant' voucher and the last bit of my Xmas voucher. Bought a lovely clematis which will have red flowers for a good few months provided I don't manage to kill it off. The plan is that it will grow up the trellis that is next to the front door. Met family there for a coffee and a lift back with said plant.
Sent in my meter readings for this month and did a few surveys then got one for £9 on Prolific - took over an hour to complete but that was the most lucrative one I've done for them. Its already been approved so am up at £16 on there now.
Cut the grass in the afternoon supervised by big old furry boy. Made some potato salad to go with my tea and used chives from the garden in it. Not exactly a huge food contribution but satisfying none the less. The salad leaves are beginning to sprout and the strawberry plants are flowering so things are happening in the garden :j Must get some beans planted at the weekend.
Off to work shortly, will be late home so better go and make some sarnies to take with me.0 -
Been a busy week with work and other stuff after work while I was in the Big City. Next week will be much quieter work wise though.
I've finally heard that I will have a few extra hours of work each month hopefully starting next month :j so that will be helpful and its funded for 3 years. I've also got some other possibilities workwise which will hopefully kick in during the next few months.
Almost at £20 on Prolific, just need another survey or two to get me there. £25 from OneP has arrived in my account so that will go towards the CC bill overpayment. I'm going to have a think about my CC finances over the weekend as I think I need to have a bit of a shuffle about.
Online shop to order this affy and I might head out to a nearby town which has lots of CS and see if I can find a new to me top or two. Also need some more fruit as have almost run out.0 -
Good news on the extra work
