aww, come on....the change really isn't that significant if you've got 700 mins/txts to play with, on top of the extra 300 mins 3-3. Think what a similar tariff would cost on any other network. I for one are totally happy with the m'n'm tariff, no probs at all......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
It's all about personal preference, I've had 3 weeks of major problems since upgrading. I'm on my 3rd replacement handset and when a replacement sim card was sent my phone was cut off without notice for 4 full days until the new sim arrived. 3 have told me I'm not entitled to any compensation.
So I'm not too happy with the service and 3, people are entitled to their own views!!0 -

The quote under your posts is pretty funny considering what 3 are proposing to do to their customers on Mix & Match price plans. I'd like to clarify that my current usage on the new M&M price plan is approximately 900 texts and minutes a month, that's why I chose M&M 700. The change in the price plan will take me closer to my monthly allowance, that's why I have a problem with the changes.
If I was happy with the service I wouldn't be posting on this topic and as I've mentioned before you are entitled to your opinions. Just because you don't agree doesn't take away the fact that 3 are ripping their customers off. I'm sure there are other people that don't agree with you.0 -
mulerider - are you sure ?? If your useage was 900 mins & txts, I'd have gone for m'm 1100, or will you use the 300 3-3 mins on top of the 700 ?? All I'm saying is that for the useage, you probably won't get better.. My new ctt is on m'n'm 300, and as mrs GunJack is also on 3, the extra 300 3-3 mins gives me 600 in total for my £15. For my useage, that's plenty as most of my calls will be 3-3.
I concede the change to the t&c's is subtle, but not unreasonable considering what you get for your money. Rip-off?? I doubt you'll get a comparable package for your money on the other networks, and you can check your useage instantly via my3, so is easy to keep track of. Al in all, I think 3 have come up with the goods on these new tariffs, ideal for me and mrs GunJack. Only my opinion, of course. And on re-reading my earlier post, sorry of it came over a bit bolshy, it wasn't meant to......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

It isn't an increase of 300% on the minutes used. Assuming all your other calls are over a minute long, these are increases of 47 and 18 minutes out of 700, only a few percent and only affecting you at all if you use all the minutes. Let them offer you a quid or two off or an upgrade to the next tariff to stay.0

I can't deny I'm on a pretty good price plan with 3 but my main reason for cancelling the contract is because 2 weeks ago my phone was disconnected for 4 days while I was waiting for a replacement sim card. I'd upgraded and my old sim wasn't compatible with the N95, I kept getting an error message saying sim registration failed. My phone was cut off at 22.30 on Friday evening, anyone can imagine what problems that would cause over the weekend. I started using my phone again on the following Tuesday afternoon
I've contacted 3 and they have told me I'm not entitled to any compensation. Hope this makes my situation more clear and the reason I'm using the option to cancel. 3 don't deserve my hard earned cash..
Up until my recent upgrade I was pretty happy with 3 I've been with them over 3 years. My wife is on a new Mix & Match price plan and is happy to stay with them.0 -
Hi mulerider,
Sorry to jump threads but I saw your post in the retentions thread:
I'm trying to get retentions to give me the same deal but they say they can't do that deal unless I can give them your phone number to prove that someone gave that deal.
I can understand you might not want to give that out but is there any chance you would be able to? - i'd only give it to 3 and no one else. You could private message or email me it.
Also, did you call up and get that deal or did they give you a call after you'd put your notice in and offer you it?
Thanks
Ian
Hi Ian,
just a quick update, they wouldn't even offer my brother the same deal that I was on. The video add-on has just gone up to £15 for new customers and as soon as they look at all the notes on my account there is no way they'll offer you the same deal. I think the best you could do would be M&M 700 with a £5 video add-on.

That is crazy that he did not get the same deal. Kinda shady.0

As of today there is a minimum call charge of 1 minute, wether you are on the phone for 2 seconds or 59 seconds.
Apparently anyone connected to mix and match after 27th October cannot cancel due to this change of contract as it was in terms and conditions.
If you connected to mix and match tariffs before then it is a detrimental change to your contract.
This change applies to all mix and match tariffs from today and applies to existing customers as well.0
