1000 people?
With a target of just 1500?
:rotfl:When we originally published the story, Ryanair told us there was no "glitch" in its systems, and that any passengers with incorrect names on their bookings would need to pay its standard £115 fee to change them.
We've since contacted it several times with the new evidence, but it hasn't responded.
We've approached Ryanair to comment on the petition, and will update this story if we hear back....independent aviation consultant Chris Tarry said, despite the low satisfaction ratings, customers were still happy enough to fly with the Irish budget carrier.
"Ryanair still represents great value for a huge amount of people. What they receive is what they expect."
Mr Tarry said the airline had endured "a tough year" but still generates "huge amounts of cash".
....
A Ryanair spokesperson said: "Ryanair passenger numbers have grown by 80% in the past six years and Ryanair.com has become the world's most visited airline website.
"These facts reflect what customers want much more than an unrepresentative survey of just 8,000 people."
So I doubt they will be too worried about 1000 petitioners, especially when statistically, probably at least 800 of them will continue to fly Ryanair.0 -
You have to laugh - what do Ryanair care.
Pay peanuts expect peanuts
What did Gerald Ratner say Pay £xxx expect XXXXPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0 -
Ryan air carry about 13 million people a month, not sure a 1000 strong petition is going to worry them, especially as wavelets says most will still use ryanair anyway0

I am amazed that so many people make errors in their name when booking!0

The target goes up as more people sign.So I doubt they will be too worried about 1000 petitioners, especially when statistically, probably at least 800 of them will continue to fly Ryanair.
Me too.
I gave up on Ryanair a long time ago (and actually actively slog to Luton to fly with Wizz if both are on a route, despite living on the doorstep of Stansted).
Many won’t though as Ryan are the cheapest/only option on a lot of ‘mainstream’ routes that I don’t use.....💙💛 💔0 -
I am a bit puzzled about the value of a petition. What they need is half a dozen cases sent to court in the same envelope, each citing 3 or 4 further witnesses.
Any large company that claims it has no glitches in its computer system has zero credibility.0
