Specky have you been to the football muses in Manchester. I went last year when I was over staying with family it’s very good.
TA I wish you lived near me, our local butchers won the world sausage making competition last year so their sausages are officially best in the world. They are beef sausages and very very nice. He also does cabbage and bacon sausages which are lovely too.
Not much happening here just life going on, going to make a shepherds pie for dinner as I’m off today. Will run the hoover around later too.
when I go to the good food show there is a butchers there from N. I. ...Barry Johns I think and they are by far the nicest sausages I have ever had...sadly cant get them here but must be something about Ireland

It's a bit embarrassing when you are in Tes*o's and trying to get up from squatting after reaching the bottom shelf. I have to call Mr Fix It to help me stand upright again :rotfl::rotfl:

least you have Mr Fix it I would need to pretend I was looking for a lost pound :rotfl::rotfl:
Can we see the chair?0 -
Sorry Nelski I can't do a pic but if you go to d.f.s. and check Rena power plus recliner chair you can see it. BTW we are having it in Demin blue which is not far off the colour of the rest of our suite. The colour of the chair is much darker than shown on the website.
The trouble with relying on Mr Fix It to help is he has a habit of wandering off at the most inappropriate times :rotfl:Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -

Evening all.
Made it down to Glasgow before dark which is always a bonus in winter. My returning student didn't come in today. I spent the morning marking so the time wasn't wasted.
I had a little guilty moment of :rotfl:on the drive. A white van man overtook me at great speed and disappeared from view very quickly. Then I spied him parked in a lay-by just before the Rest with a police car behind and in front. It was only a tiny smile!
DM had me doing three jobs before I took my shoes off. She's now doing some gentle decluttering.
Nan - well done on the lovely chair! Think that's a result.
Curtains are closed, feet are up and that's it for tonight.0 -
Hi everyone Just a quickie to say DD got to cuddle her baby last night at 6 days old. She was so happy!
Doctor says she can be taken out of the incubator once a day now...they are really pleased with her progress and she has put on a tiny bit weight.
I've got the day off to take my mam to see her tomorrow....Friday is the only day we can arrange for someone to be with my dad all day, as he can't be left alone. It's a 2 hour journey, involving two trains, so a bit of a trek....but obviously worth it! I'm hoping to manage to go twice a week.0
