I wouldnt buy a Dell laptop for one reason (winning one is a different story), and thats the 3 month warranty. Most laptops come with a one year warranty, some even come with 2 although rarer. Thats the one reason i would never buy a Dell.

Do you know anybody that lives in the USA? my next laptop is coming from there, i can buy a top of the range gateway for $600(about 300gbp), gateway laptops are fantastic machines.
  • Thanks for nice comp ryan85k

Don't forget to check the site everyone on/after 31/12 in case they don't email or contact the Winner.

EDIT: Oh it's okay -- checked the T+C's they say they notify winner in writing by end of Jan 08 ignore me!!

I have to say a huge thanks chevalier! I reigstered on the site then filed the welcome email away after seeing that it didn't need to be 'activated'.

I would never have gone back to the suite to actually enter the comp if you hadn't posted this! Thank you! :)
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out
  • I'm getting 'sorry, can't run from here' when I click submit - hope it's entered me!

Yes but under consumer law you still get a 1 year guarantee so if it did break down in the 1st 12 months then all is not lost.
