so read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread at the top of this forum, especially post #5 that deals with acronyms

I cannot find an email for their DPO at PTL so try this one and tell them to pass it to their DPO

you are requiring the proof of any such postal notice sent to you as KEEPER and are demanding it under the GDPR (data protection) - this would be the missing NTK

the same applies to those morons at PCS who have added charges to the initial parking charge

so you are using the law to make them prove their allegations

the NEWBIES thread is the third thread down from the top of this forum

the legal beagles forum has a template for a SAR to send to a DPO at a company
  • Thankyou very much 4 ur help

bear in mind that the photos taken of a windscreen notice are about what the DRIVER did, not YOU as the KEEPER

they have to send YOU an NTK in the post as KEEPER and have failed to do so (they must know your address as you received the debt letter, if it is a debt letter)

if it is a Notice To Keeper (NTK), then appeal it with the blue text template from the NEWBIES thread post #1, appealing as KEEPER

bear in mind it should not be more than £100 so complain to the BPA AOS by email stating that no NTK has been received by YOU as the KEEPER, that the excessive £120 charge is in breach of their code of practice and you have not been given the chance to appeal it either. include copies of the paperwork you have received

DO NOT PHONE PCS again, the driver may be liable, but YOU as keeper may not be, as the law has to be complied with in order to make YOU liable for a drivers actions, which doesnt seem to be the case here (the law is POFA 2012)

I suspect this was a self ticketing operation by some norris cole nearby, and PTL expect that PCS should do all the legwork, so they dont have to

they are trying to bamboozle you, dont fall for it

Julie, have you based your forum username on your real name?

Then your really should ask MSE to change your username to something totally anonymous.

To help with that, you might like to read this short extract from The MSE Forum Guide - Frequently Asked Questions & Rules:
    Q. How can I change my username?

    A.
In most circumstances, this is not permitted.

The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk. This usually means you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something that gives away your identity within your username.

If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and request that it is changed, giving three alternative usernames in order of preference.
  • Thank you
