I just logged into my account and am wondering if all saving accounts have been reported. Their figures and and mine are very  different. I did contact them last year, by web chat, and was promised details of all interest received but the letter never arrived. Should all interest on saving accounts be notified including any which are rolled up at the end of a year and reinvested into another one year bond.
All interest should be notified but sometimes mistakes are made. If you phone HMRC they will send you a list of al the interest reported.

See post no. 8 on the thread linked below which may help you. This poster was able to get the information they required.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try another web chat or leave it till the weekend as I don't have any inclusive calls on my phone, only free landline calls at the weekend. The web chat last year never produced the promised report. I was told it would take about 10 working days but they didn't specify which days and in which year. Perhaps the 10 days have not occurred yet.

If they haven't been notified, I assume they will catch up with me some day. Am I correct?

Looks like their phone lines are not open at the weekend.

I could tell HMRC I don't need to complete a tax return next tax year and stop sending them in. From what I've read on this thread I might be mad to do so as I'd then need to follow up with HMRC to keep correcting estimated income from savings. Is Self Assessment the easier option? It shouldn't take me long when all I would have to declare beyond my PAYE income is savings interest and a trivial amount of dividends (both below their respective nil rate bands).

I have found self assessment to be my best solution. For the last two years I've submitted my return online in mid-April once I'd got my figures together. In both instances my figure of interest hasn't been disputed or discussed. I don't know what figures they have got for me but they have clearly been content with mine. The £30 odd overpayment that arose last year was paid without fuss. I've not bothered arguing about my code number as it all gets settled at the year end. My tax affairs are straightforward - just Schedule E sources and interest over £1000.
I'll be doing the same next month.

Once you have got to your personal tax account online home page, click on Pay as you earn and then on Check next year. Then on the Tax free amount section there is a heading Deductions. When I first saw this there was a figure for the amount by which my interest exceeded £1,000. This is now showing at zero after I spoke to HMRC to get it corrected.

You can also see the interest for previous years by logging in to your PTA online and then clicking Start now on the link below.

    https://www.gov.uk/guidance/annual-tax-summary

Then click on the tax year, your income and taxes and you taxable income. This should show your Main income and Other income (including interest).

Just remembered that you can also see the current year. Click as follows in your PTA:

    PAYE
    Check current year
How you income tax is calculated
    View detailed income tax estimate

This will show your total income from savings estimated for the year.

Nor can I and I’ve looked really hard. I don’t think it’s available to all?
