Time to turn things around

Haven't posted for a long time....... these past 6 months have been an absolute nightmare for various reasons I won't go in to, and as a result my debt situation has fallen by the wayside.
I have decided to try a self managed DMP.

I have set an account on nedcab, and today I am posting holding letters to my creditors. Trying to stay positive, but feeling a bit down with it all right now. Let's see if things start to turn around for the better soon.

Good to see you back although not in particularly positive circumstances. On the plus side, you've recognised the situation and are doing something about it.

For me, being consistent on here was a great motivator and way to keep track. There's daily, weekly, monthly and yearly challenges on here which I still use even though I'm no longer in debt. Give em a bash.

Thank you Speky, I'm hoping things will improve, and I'm going to try to post more often to keep myself on track.
I actually have a goal for today, which is to list some things on eBay I've been putting off.
Also this week I've been using up what's in the freezer, so trying to stick to that until we run out of food :laugh:

Oh, and I posted the holding letters yesterday afternoon.
