    It doesn't sound normal at all because as the article states:

    I really don't think the Energy Ombudsman Service would employ anyone as their Investigations Officer who was double dipping at the same time as an employee of the company being investigated.
    What happens if my complaint isn't resolved after being escalated to an ombudsman?Unfortunately, if it has been deemed your complaint isn't fair, you may have little choice other than to accept the situation.
    A complainant can still elect to then take the matter to small claims (assuming they have not accepted the ombudsman's proposed resolution), but anyone doing this should do so in the full expectation that the court will become aware (even if the complainant doesn't disclose this upfront to the court) that the matter had already been through the ombudsman service, and what the ombudsman's decision was.

    Resolver is just an E-Mail template which often causes more problems than it (re)solves.

    TBH, I doubt I'll ever need to use it...:cool:
    To be clear, I'm not having a problem with a service provider or supplier.


    I just commented on the OP's stated experience with Resolver.
    At this stage, I don't really care what it does, what it doesn't do, who does it or what involvement (or not) it has with the Energy Ombudsman.

    I think it's capitalising every word in sentence, normally abbreviated to only the second word of the valediction. Presumably otherwise it would look quite strange.

    Another is not signing the letter, which again can arise for all sorts of reasons.

    It was every stage within First Utility's internal complaints procedure, as conducted via Resolver.
