New battery for Z5 Compact?

On Amazon these batteries are about £16. On ebay they're as low as £3.89. Are they any good from ebay?

How can we possibly know their authenticity? There are some things I would not buy from ebay. Batteries are one of them.

What I would suggest, is that if you are inclined to purchase a mobile phone batery from ebay, is charge it somewhere far away from anything that could possibly catch alight.

If you do buy through Amazon, check out the company that Amazon are using to supply the goods. A lot of Amazon supplied products are from 3rd party companies. And a lot of those companies are on ebay too or have they own website.
So you can still get bad quality goods via an Amazon web page.

Thanks, so it seems it's a bit of a gamble buying off ebay, and maybe even on Amazon.

So can anyone recommend a reputable place I can get a battery from?

my choice would be Amazon...........its normally easy returned after testing for week or so, and get your money back if you are not satisfied

I suggest an UK based supplier, ReplaceBase. I have bought various batteries, their battery capacity and stability is great. My OnePlus One battery capacity is still 3150mAh after 5month use. (the official capacity is 3100mAh)

In general, it would be a good idea to check the weight of the original battery, if the replacement is far lighter than the original one, that would be a fake capacity.
