    All the advice you could possibly need has been kindly given by Motorguy.
    The only thing I would add is that buying something like a BMW then even considering Halfords or Kwikfit as a place to service it is basically playing Russian Roulette. A 2013 BMW 320d is going to need regular tlc by someone who knows what they’re doing.
    When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on :wink:

    I can't believe that there is a thread so long about BMW servicing that doesn't mention the frequent main dealer software updates which prevent total disaster. The way people are talking you'd think there is still an internal combustion engine in these vehicles.
