Does it have a adjustable weight at the end ( not the needle end). If it does it will just need adjusting, ie if the weight is too far back the needle won’t touch the record or just skip across it0 -
There is a procedure to adjusting the counterweight so the stylus exerts the correct amount of pressure on the record. Too little and it will skip/float above the record, too much and it will damage the stylus and/or record. You need to read the instructions carefully.0
