I've just submitted my update - only £1000 left to go, sooooo close! It's very tempting to pay it off from savings, but I'm holding back for now because of a couple of upcoming expenses... it will definitely be gone by the end of this year though!Congratulations to those who have completed their challenge!MFiT-T5 #52 - aiming to clear mortgage completelyJanuary 2019: £19620 ~ November 2021: £0.00!7

Ooh, well done everyone! We are all making such good progress!
I've not made any OPs for a few months now as we're having building work done and all spare dosh is going to replace savings for now.
However, I was delighted to find that I've actually met my target! Target was to get mortgage under £180,000, and I'm now at £179,904.39.
Can't wait for the next challenge. Looking at my spreadsheet I should be at just over £157,000 by the end of it with no OPs - shall I aim for under £150k? That's about £2300 OP a year - might try to be a bit more ambitious...6 -
