Your problem is that the only way you can question things is to take it to court.
You may win, and the magistrate throws it out.
Or they may come up with calibration certificates and training records, and the magistrate accepts that the person holding the speed gun was competent to use it. At that point you get not only the fine and the points, but any other costs they can load on you, such as victim surcharge fees and court costs. And no chance of a speed awareness course.
Do you want to take that risk?If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
