are phones on tesco mobile locked to tesco network?

i was interested in buying a nokia 2630 from tesco as they are £34.97 instead of £59.97 when you spend £25 in store.

i have an o2 sim card and wanted to know if it would work or not

o2 sims should work in tesco handsets

In my experience Tesco always lock their phones.
