Phone receipt lost, still under warranty?

A couple of months ago I bought a new PAYG Sony Ericsson phone on Orange. However, I seem to have lost my receipt and all other paperwork that came with the phone. My question is if my phone gets damaged can I still get it repaired by Orange and/or SE.
I did not fill in or posted any warranty paperwork. I know the phone has a 2 years warranty. But since I lost the receipt and other warranty form can I still get it fixed. The phone is registered to me through Orange.

It Should Be Even If You Take It To These One Of These Mobile Phone Repair Centers,
If You Type In *#0000# It Will Bring Up On Your Phone When Your Handset Was Made And The Warrenty Is Usually Two Years From That Date. These Places Dont Cover Water Damage Though0 -
Hi,
So, I can send it to an offical SE repair centre and I do not need any proof that I bought the phone, and Orange will not have any dealings with the matter of damage?
BTW, thanks for the quick reply.0 -
Just tried the '#0000#' number but I get a network problem reported back. Is this number phone/network specific. Anyone else know what the equivalent is for a latest Sony Ericsson phone??0

Hold on, isn't that incorrect. Shouldn't the warranty cover start from the day I bought and registered the phone. It would make sense as SE gurantees 2 year warranty. If I bought the phone 6 months after the make date then I would have lost 6 months warranty on what you replied.
Does anyone have experienced a repair scenario without any recepit????
I am based in the UK.0 -

You've lost the receipt and all documentation... In your position I would think myself very lucky if someone honoured a guarantee with a few months missing. Be grateful. You have made a mistake. You may be lucky.
Have you got a credit card statement or cheque stub or something like that for when you bought the phone? It really would be helpful if you could find some documentation. Forgive me for saying it... but it wouldn't be too difficult for someone to doubt that you were the rightful owner of this phone would it?0 -
