    Good news people i have just received the following email

    Thank you for your response.

    In light of your comments, on this occasion only, I have requested that the parking charge is cancelled. Athena will confirm the cancellation in writing in due course.

    Just one question, i am yet to forward any information to athena i am guessing i am now done and dusted with them and do not need to send them anything ?

    Id just like to say thank you to everyone that offered me help and if anyone is going through something similar, keep the faith

    Anyone would think that Lidl is the only supermarket around ????

    You have the confirmation from Lidl in writing. If you wish you
    can confirm to Athena that is has been cancelled but it stops now

    You might want to do a bit of research and try to discover where else (other than Lidl) Athena operate.

    There is a strong suspicion that Athena are but a front for Lidl to punitively charge for parking infringements, with Athena simply receiving a management fee for the admin of the charge.

    Does anyone know of any other Athena presence outside of Lidl?

    Never seen Athena anywhere else.

    Odd Lidl website. Head Office in Wimbledon but from all the
    pictures, they are based in Wimbledon Station ???
