TV Licence Renewal Scam?

I renewed my TV Licence online at the end of April, received confirmation of payment and details of new licence etc. and the money came out of my account.
just now had an email saying something went wrong and it could not be renewed. It said if I don't renew by tomorrow, showing me where to click(!!!) my details will be given to debt collection agencies.
This definitely feels like a scam so I just deleted it, without clicking on the link.
Has anyone else had this or similar email?

The details show just how devious the scammers can be in manipulating bank security.0 -
Thanks all - I have deleted the email now but realise after googling that it's quite a well known scam.
It was very convincing but in future I'll just ignore all such communications0
