Hello
For the last year I've been using GoDaddy (my web page is still a work in process as I've been struggling with certain things) and it just came up for renewal. I purchased my domain through them so have kept that but the renewal for hosting is more than I can currently afford at this time of year. I got the first year at a reduced cost.
Can anyone recommend a good priced reliable company to host my webpage please?
Many thanks
Anna

Transfer it to a free hosting service? Although they usually have their own issues. Adverts or a poor experience of uploading the website.

I use weebly, granted it’s my first time, it’s quite easy to use and not very expensive.0

Hi
My budget is as low as possible lol. They wanted £80 which might not seem a lot but I'm on a low income.
It's for a blog so I know traffic will be slow to start with so it will be low. I don't need an email address or anything like that extra.
Many thanks0 -

Have a look on webhostingtalk.com - there's a subsection on the website for "Free" hosting offers. Saves you paying anything.
I run 2 websites, one gets 30k hits per month and the other about 1k, and I wouldn't expecting to pay more than £5 p/m hosting feesOwner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them

I could easily list several companies I would avoid but recommending one is increasingly difficult as so many of the smaller companies, who were quite good, have been bought up by larger, less reliable ones.
Hostgator were the last budget company who I used who were okay, they too were bought out and since then their customer service is quite bad when something goes wrong, however they are relatively reliable and better than some. My worry using a 'free' hosting service is what the business model is. Many seem to offer X for free then charge inflated, extra fees for things that would normally be included for free in a decent hosting package.0 -
I've been using https://www.falcoda.co.uk/ for a few years now and have no compaints.
Note that you have to add VAT to their advertised prices.0 -
I have used well over 100 hosting companies. I wouldn't touch the big companies (123 Reg, 1and1 now Ionis, Hostgator, GoDaddy) for anything other than domains with a barge pole.
I've used clook.co.uk for over ten years and they are by far the best I've ever used. Tickets are sometimes actioned in under two minutes. That's for a resolution not an acknowledgement.0 -
Just checked mine (50webs) £41.
Naughty me didnt check when it renewed a couple of months back. Must try harder.
I can host 10 websites and i get 200 50webs subdomains free.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I have personally used https://www.WebhostUK.Co.UK for 5 plus years, good service at affordable price. Good thing about them is support is always available via livechat to assist. I have missed this feature with most big brands available in the market.-2
