yes , read the NEWBIES thread post #2 again, plus the court documents from your local court, so you dont miss any stages
ie:- be prepared , be pro active , not reactive0 -
Ok I have some updates since my last post.
I received a “Notice of Transfer of Proceedings” conforming that my local court was where the claim has now been transferred to.
Shortly after I received a a copy of a letter the court sent to BW legal asking them to revisit there particulars of claim as it was too vague.
BW legal then sent a new detailed POC to the court and also sent me a copy. I can attach pictures if that helps.
I then received a letter stating:
1. I have some time to serve an amended defence.
2. The judge has allocated this case to the small claims track.
3. The court believe this case is suitable for mediation.
4. I have untill the end of April to file any statements, evidence, witnesses, copies of documents I may rely on etc.
Strangely after that letter was received. A man from BW legal emailed me (I don’t know how they got my email address), asking me to call his direct number to discuss my ‘account’ with them.
Any advice on how to approach these letters and this email ?
Thanks as always !

...let me guess, template: 'REPLY TO DEFENCE' LOL?!Following this i received a copy of BW legal’s
Ignore the fishing email - you have no 'account' and there's nothing to 'discuss'.
Do you feel there is anything you need to amend about your defence?
If not, press on with the WS and evidence stage as per the NEWBIES thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

PUT IN PLAIN ENGLISH .....
BWLegal want mediation because they are unsure of their case
NO MEDIATION ????
BWLegal want you to phone one of their clowns so he can bully you
BWLegal ...... they are just like a badly written book
Whoop them in court and claim your costs0
