    I don’t know.

Viagogo move the money directly into my paypal account which I then withdraw directly into my bank account. There are no fees associated with this.

This provides more information confirming there are no fees.

Sorry, we seem to be misunderstanding each other. Surely if they charge for receiving payments for goods and services, such as ebay sales, there's no reason they wouldn't charge you for RECEIVING a payment for selling tickets on Viagogo? I hadn't questioned whether they charge for withdrawing the money to a bank account. Surely if you look at your pp statements, you'll see that they charged you when you RECEIVED the payments, as they would be classed as goods and services? I obviously can't ask the company to pay me as though I was friends or family as the payment does relates to goods and services. Sure, the fee may not be huge but the company shouldn't really change the payment terms for the assignment AFTER the purchase order has been issued and approved.

No they didn't charge me a penny when I received the payment to my account.

I imagine they charged Viagogo when they made the payment to me which is probably covered by the fees viagogo add on to any order you sell.

As has been explained that is a different matter, there is no charge for moving funds from a PayPal account to a bank account . The charges arise when payment is received into a PayPal account.

Does that mean that you could use either of those 3 email addresses to log in, with the same password, or would it have to be the primary one? i.e. if a hacker managed to get hold of one of the secondary email addresses (but not your primary one) may they be able to use that to gain access? Don't mean to scare anyone but I've been the victim of online card fraud more than once over the last few years (not on Paypal so far but they've managed to hack into well-known online retailers and place orders in my name, so who knows what they might try in the future) so I'm wary of things that could potentially make things easier for hackers.

I have several emails attached to my PayPal, i can use any of those emails to log in using the same password. I keep my information safe, am aware of phishing emails and am happy that I don't have any vulnerable email addresses that a fraudster could use.

Well I don't use paypal much but I sold tickets for £220, £220 was transferred into my PayPal account by Getmein (not viagogo I have checked) and this was then withdrawn into my bank account.

I did not pay any fees to PayPal at all.

In that case they must have had some kind of arrangement to cover Paypal's fees in advance and they would have passed this on to the buyer so the buyer must have paid more than the £220 you ended up with. If you ended up with £220, doesn't mean there were no fees, just that they'd been taken off at an earlier stage or covered separately. But normally it's the recipient who pays them so if an ebay seller wants to end up with £10 and the P&P and all fees total £5, they'd have to set the selling price at £15. I'd imagine the same would apply when selling tickets as well.

Either way, the company in question would do it as a normal goods and services transaction, and Paypal would most definitely charge me at the point of receiving the money. They are based in Ireland but I believe they have been using UK based bank accounts in GBP in the past, in which case they probably wouldn't have needed to pay any fees for a domestic transaction. Perhaps online banking is slightly less convenient for them than Paypal, but I still think they would be able to do it the way they used to, if they wanted to.
