Holly, lovely to see you posting
Lainey, glad you are feeling a bit better.
Today has been a lazy one, certainly not counting calories.
DH's tradition is for a full roast on New Years but as he does Christmas I did this one with the works it was lovely of course.
There has also been cake and chocolate. Dr who is on in the background.0 -
Hi everyone...….just been having a catch up. Youngest DD has been kept in hospital as her blood pressure is still too high. Doctors have said that she may be there until she has the baby now. I feel happier that she is in hospital being very closely monitored....I was worried about her being at home and so far from the hospital.
Off to bed now0 -

Just about to have my first cuppa of 2019
& a session of Angr* Birds 2 & maybe some knitting.
Full roast beef dinner today & I am very happy that all the veggies (except the cabbage) are prepped.
Yesterday I finished my personal correspondence so a walk to the post box & maybe a small sm shop as well
The rest of the day will be taken up with sorting & listing the contents of the garage freezer, finishing the weekly menu plan & maybe a quick whizz round with the vacuum cleaner
what an exciting life
MrsSD
P.S. nice to see you Holly :T
No roast dinner - my DH & DSis got up very late, then decided to have baths - NOT TOGETHER I hasten to add :rotfl: so didn’t have lunch until gone 4 p.m. Scrambled eggs on toast with smoked salmon with a dill & mustard dressing. So DH has had a cheese sandwich & DSis is just cooking oven chips & burgers
This morning I walked to the sm & fed the ducks, swans, coots etc. & also posted letters & cards. Sm was very quiet with lots of empty shelves. I bought birthday cards for Feb, Mch & Apr birthdays & those have all been written, addressed, weighed & marked with a date for posting :T I got fed up with myself for missing birthdays :rotfl: I also sorted the garage freezer. Still need to finish the menu plan but the vacuuming can wait until tomorrow. So tonight is menu plan, typing up & printing freezer lists & knitting
Hope everyone has had the day they desired - see you all tomorrow
