But you don't pay when you lose at POPLA v ECP, you know.

    You do realise that?

     thankfully he hadn’t paid it.
    Update:
Had a 1st letter from DRP (debt chasers) chasing it, ignored it.
    2nd letter says the following:
Notice of Intended court action- parking charge notice £145
Letter states that if I don’t pay then they will pass the file back to their client with a recommendation to take court action.

Am I right in thinking this is just threatening nonsense as they r trying to make it sound like it is the letter before court action (which I should respond) which it isn’t is it? Happy to post full letter without details showing if needed.

Thank you for your continued advice in advance. X

Letter states that if I don’t pay then they will pass the file back to their client with a recommendation to take court action.
And as they operate on a 'no collection, no fee' basis, they'll be in no hurry to tell their client they have completely failed, then forever kiss goodbye to any hope of earning a cent from your case.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Not very. If you need help you should start your own thread rather than hijacking someone elses.
