Definitely Nilfisk. Had two Karchers and both had pump failure due to plastic bodied pumps whereas nilfisk are metal bodied.0

I bought B & Q Home brand pressure washer and it was still working like new when i replaced it 25 years later with Karcher, which blew up less than 2 years later0 -
Mine does and use it almost every week. If I have a build of salt from road it needs a better clean with a cloth, sponge or brush all clean no grit.ChrisK..... wrote: »Pressure washers are good for cleaning paths but wont even take surface dust off a car.

A garden pressure sprayer is a cheap and useful addition or alternative. I use one to assist with window cleaning (upper floor city centre flat, sticky diesel exhaust deposits).Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

Depends what Chemical you use, traffic film remover is better than wax wash. Still find though that a sponge, shampoo and leather gives a better result than just a pressure washer but does take longer.0 -
The car came up great, the washer seems super so far... it has a 2 year warranty on it, so if I get the slightest issue I will return for a refund etc. I am wary of people saying Karcher can be hit or miss.
I started on our back yard area before the lawn, which I used to think was a standard grey concrete colour.... my goodness, even without adding detergent the amount of dirt it lifted was crazy. Does detergent make much difference? It does come with one large bottle...which I seem to invert into the machine.
It turns out our yard stone is a very light colour. I intend to blast away at it on Saturday morning to make it all nice and presentable !0
