No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries January 2019

2 UUs from me - Ecotools make up brush shampoo: I bought this from TK Maxx a while back and I don't think it is available anymore. It was nice but I usually use the baby shampoo and it does the job. WNBA.
Clinique Overnight Turnaround Moisturiser: I think this only available online as I never seen it anywhere in the shops. Initially, I really liked it. It had a noticeable impact on my skin. However, it is not great if your skin is on drier side. Reviews mentioned it helped with acne scars but only after long term use I believe. I did like it but I dislike buying beauty products online usually so probably WNBA.
I have also TA some makeup products but didn't make a list. Around 5-6 items that have been open so long and not used gone in the recycling bin.
I don't need to buy hand creams, body creams and make-up products for a long time. I also have a good stash of facial masks and hair products.
And finally, I have some INs to report but will do that later.ally.0 -

Well done on finishing LemonAid. It takes some work. I have pan in mine. Is it still a staple for you.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Hi VALM
I have been using a Look Fabulous Forever Eye Primer and the Lemon Aid had been lurking nearly finished for ages, I dug it out again and the last bit had gone thick. I think I will get another LFF one as it comes like a lip gloss with a doe foot applicator and is easier to apply and better for my ageing eyelids:rotfl:
You mentioned The Ordinary, I have not tried any because I am quite sold on some of the NIOD products - having older and sensitive skin I decided not to try TO. Have you seen the TO bundle on QVC, may not have all that you want in it, but it does seem to offer a good clutch of products and of course there is the 30 day MBG:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. VALM - I bought one product from The Ordinary (Salicylic Acid I think) but when I wanted to rebuy hardly any of their products were available anywhere, it seemed there was some massive controversy with them and the owner had a breakdown if I remember correctly.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I find Lemon Aid to be quite thick now too. I have a MAC Paint Pot that I will use next. Like the sound of the one you use. Do you have to wait for it to dry down?
I’ve looked at the bundles on QVC. I found a good article last week that set out the specific regime for anti aging however the bundles on QVC don’t contain them all. Looking at samples on eBay for now. May try the foundation from QVC in the future though. Do they ever have TSV kits?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I saw a Wayne Goss video yesterday wherein he mentioned stock problems. The Founder died last week.
I came across it by accident. I won a bundle of beauty items from List It ... Guft It and entered the draw for the bottle of Ordinary alone not even knowing what it was. When it came, it was the Blemish Control one (containing Zinc). I gave it to Emma as she used to suffer terrible break outs on her forehead and chin. This product has transformed her skin and I repeat purchase it for her.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. One UU from last night:
Papa Recipe Bombee Whitening Honey Mask Pack WPB. This was really nice, very soothing and hydrating. Just what my skin needed after being at work all day yesterday. The place I work in is a warehouse, and it has a big fan which is meant to heat the place up in winter, it only does slightly, and then it makes the air so dry and my skin suffers a bit from it.0 -

I usually apply foundation or mineral powder, the eye primer, tart up my eyebrows and them am ready to go, for me it is best used thinly and then blended in with a brush. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0
