I alsorrequested vouchers on about 6/10/07 but stupidly hadn't completed my postal address. i replied to Pigsback with it and they sorted it out in about a week.

I'm actually thinking that there was a glitch with submitting addresses around that time. I *know* I would have entered my address, but I had an email a couple days ago saying they didn't have my address with the reward order.

Several others have stated in this thread their address wasn't registered either. Seems very odd.
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j

Thanks, I've added it in to the quizzes post.

It still says I've already answered this question. How strange, we had this before when people couldn't answer questions

Yes I agree, it would make much more sense if they charged us all a bit more to send the vouchers recorded delivery, atleast that way it would be easier to trace etc. Guess I will just wait a bit longer and will then fill in a form and see if the post office can trace what happened to it.

The problem is that even under Recorded Delivery vouchers are not covered for loss. This is stated on the RM website, and suggests that vouchers are sent Special Delivery only.

All that Recorded Delivery would prove is that PB actually sent it in the first place. The reason I say this is that I was waiting for a voucher for over 6 weeks, after many emails back and forth, they eventually said they would re-credit my account. Then about 10 days later the original voucher turned up, and guess what......was date stamped only 2 days earlier!! So how could PB say they sent it out when it was date stamped roughly 8 weeks after ordering and I still had the additional 1000PB in my account from the refund.

I put the extra 1000PB down as compensation and cost of time involved for me having to chase for ages.

    Go figure that one!

  • Even though the postal strikes are 'way over' there's still mounds of unsorted post sitting around that they haven't got the time to deal with according to our friendly local postman so it could be that they're sitting in one of the mounds somewhere. They are quite clearly still having some problems as when I came into work this morning there was one letter. We usually have at least more than 30...

It was my Son's 18th during the postal strike and there are at least 3 family birthday cards still sitting in that "mound" somewhere. I hope they deliver it eventually and don't just dump it all.

A lot of vouchers still missing from October still I had £20 Boots ordered on the 4th and no signs yet either, gonna have to go through the old complaints fiasco now:mad:

Give it some time. I'm still waiting for a voucher from the 3rd october, and am confident it will arrive. Its still stuck in the Post office sorting office somewhere.

Lots of people are waiting for post from around that time to be delivered still. There was a good post a few pages back, which explained why this is the case.

Basically, the PO get fined for late deliveries, so they are keeping on top of the new post each day. but the old stuff, they have already been fined for, and so it makes no difference to them whether they send it out today or 1 month later.

That is why there are still sackfuls of old post lying around the sorting office, to be sent out one day when they have time. they are slowly clearing the backlog, but only a few extra sacks a day, and so could still be a time until all the backlog is cleared.

Also, the earlier post will be at the bottom of the pile, and so will take longer to sort out than the newer stuff.

hope that makes sense... have patience & your post will come (eventually).

    Hi

Can someone help me out? Not used Pigsback for a while and just tried to login and don't seem to be getting anywhere. I type in my password that bring up a login page, and wants me to type in my email address twice, current password and new password. I don't want to change my password so how do I see my account information?

    Thanks
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.

  • I joined the Pigsback a while ago, and noticed that it says in the Terms & Conditions: "Pigsback.com Programme is for the use of residents of Ireland and the United Kingdom. Residents of other countries may be able to register on the Pigsback.com Programme, but may not be able to participate fully as a non Ireland or non UK resident". Well, I thought that maybe some offers may be for UK residents only, and started collecting points although I'm Finnish.

Well, now I tried to order one of Boots' vouchers, and couldnt do it. Send E-mail to them, and they said, that I can't have the rewards at all...
    Nice, isn't it....

Kinda unfair I think PigsBack should make it clearer that they are a UK and Ireland company only.
