They didn't realise it only applied to the policyholder, not named drivers.

I just emailed MSE towers gave permission to use my IP for a account search, I have no other active Accounts with MSE. therefore there is no AE;). I am me. not portraying to be anyone else.
They really don't need "your permission" to check your IP.
Not that checking an IP proves anything at all. Even most primary school kids (who, curiously, don't seem to feel the need to scribble in coloured crayon after the first couple of years) can set up a proxy or even full VPN and switch IPs on a whim.
besides, it's not the active accounts people are suspicious of - it's all the inactive ones that are sitting silent, waiting to be activated when your current one gets shut down :money:
Oh, and happy new year0 -

Although there's a slight grey area there with car (and especially MPV) derived vans. Not sure the FOS would condone refusing cover on something which is identical to an MPV with the seats folded apart from side windows.
Personally wouldn't want to be the test case, though!0 -

My friend has an Astravan and I remember phoning up my insurers several years ago to make sure I was covered to drive it under my insurance and they said no as it was a commercial vehicle. I'm not claiming that this applies to all insurers but it is definitely worth checking. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Assuming from your implications that you have, has it not occurred to you that - by going out of your way to be stroppy and uncooperative - you're either annoying one of the non-racist policemen or, if you catch one who is, simply reinforcing their biased opinion?
Just something to think on.0
