Saving for Christmas 2019 - £1 a day challenge

Thanks for the welcome!
I've already bought a few things for DD's (x2 both grown up) -presents and stocking fillers.
We don't have a huge number of family and friends to buy for, so some years ago, we cut the amount we spend on everyone and do some Christmas shoeboxes instead. My 16 boxes are almost ready to pack. They have to be ready by end of October so I just need to do a stocktake of the things I've got and see what I still need. Then I can concentrate on our Christmas!

Hi all,
Had a massive confirmed amount on Quidco so I have added £127.00 to my amazon account, Im impressed how it has added up and I don't have to worry about where the money is going to come from for presents this year,

I'm now one month's standing order payment away from my target of £660. I have £600 saved ready to transfer to pay towards my credit card bill, as and when it's needed. I have an M&S card so they pay me in vouchers to use it and it's paid off in full every month. I also put money onto an Asda card for a few weeks to get up to where they top it up by £6. It's also paid via my M&S card, so it's a win win for me!
The shoeboxes are all ready to go as well!
I'm following Flylady's Christmas countdown too, so my control journal has started, and I'm working on decluttering each room ready to put up decorations at the beginning of December then fly stress free through the holidays!2025 Fashion on the ration

I’m past 85% now and probably won’t make it to 100% by the end of November but I’ll keep adding to it right up to Christmas. I’m relaxed about the total because I usually spend about £550, so I could go mad this year and it would still be ok :rotfl:

Number 8 - I have 600 pounds saved for Christmas,
