Getting ready for Christmas 2019 - save £1 a day challenge

I know a few of us have enjoyed doing this challenge over the years so I thought I'd host it this year, please let me know if someone else has already started, if not here we go

The Aim: To save a £1 a day from 1st December 2018 to 30th November 2019. How you save your £1 doesn't really matter, whether it be a £1 in a tin, an on-line account or anywhere else that suits you.

We will open our tins or have access to our accounts on 1st December 2019 and declare total amounts saved.

Then it's spend, spend, spend for Christmas 2019 on whatever you like.

You soon get into the habit of putting a £1 a day away and just think this time next year you will have a healthy chunk of money towards the expense of Christmas

If you would like to join in pop your name down and I will allocate a number for you.

I'd like to join please. Although I tend to buy some presents throughout the year, so may end up breaking into my stash a bit, but at least I will have a stash to break into. I will keep track of presents bought as well as money saved.

I’m in again, I have a target of £730 and I’ve carried over some TCB and the remains of various loyalty points so I’m already up to:
