Hi Guys
Thanks for your responses
I don't think I worded my last post very well- I know the POPLA appeal is not the same as the blue text (although I will definitely re read the POPLA threads etc to see how best to word the POPLA appeal).
I guess what I meant to say was that I want to ensure that I am confident as to the grounds of my appeal for when I escalate the appeal to POPLA and if it has to go to court. I think my concerns are that the blue text and the succcessful POPLA appeals that I read on the thread have clear grounds for appeal (poor signage, ticket machines, grace periods etc) and I havent seen any that are the same circumstances as my own so I'm worried that I will struggle to write a strong appeal (as I am not really clear what grounds I have to appeal given that all I have is my word that I entered my VRN).
I will re-read the POPLA threads and information tomorrow and hopefully will feel a bit more confident then,
Thanks all for your time0 -
You'll get around 30 days in which to appeal to POPLA, so you have plenty of time to check things out and get it right, as long as you don't fall asleep on the job.
I'm not suggesting you will, but you won't believe the numbers who do, then want their lack of urgency to suddenly become our emergency - as they cobble together a last minute effort! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi all
Just to update you, despite the pessimistic letter from the gp clinic saying there’s no point in appealing it won’t be successful, I wrote a strongly worded letter to the practice manager as you advised and they have intervened to cancel the PCN.
Thank you all for your advice. I think I got lucky on this one, had my POPLA appeal drafted but looks like it won’t be needed.
It shows it’s definitely worth appealing to the land owners more than once with a strongly worded letter!
Thanks again, I know where to come in future.0
