Morning all. I know it's very late in the year but can I join please? I have just shifted our debt onto an interest free card so I really want to clear it before the interest free period comes to an end.

Number 59, checking in with 29%. More excitingly... I am now under £1000! I'd hoped to get it done before Christmas but I don't see that happening now as it is November this week. Unless I find a load of stuff to ebay!0

Hi, quick question. Is it possible to make more than one payment per month to a credit card? I have a direct debit set up but if i make another payment it won't affect the direct debit will it? If I have some spare cash I want to put it to the card straight away then I'm not tempted to spend it!
Thanks

Yes it is possible to make more than one payment a month to a credit card. You'd have to check to see if it effects the direct debit. For mine it does for some cards and not for others. I have a fixed amount set for all my DDs which is just above the minimum on all of them.
(hit 30% paid off today, very exciting!)0 -
#61 checking in with 19% paid off, I’m really pleased with that. I’d love to hit 25% by the start of December, that’ll be £850 in debt payments.£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0

Well done lynneee

Need to try and find some things to sell. Back in Sept I thought I could hit 100% before Christmas but I don't think that will happen now. At least it is all moving in the right direction.0 -
Evening all! Well done on 32% remote control! I've listed a few bits on ebay so hoping to get another 1% soon. I'm itching to tick off another %! It's quite addictive, but it's a costly month with birthdays and I want to get ahead for Christmas so need to wait a bit to commit more cash to the cause. I'm just impatient!!mortgage £800 overpayment 2022. £600/£2400 2023 🙂 savings £1853/£1800 😊0
