  • I think I'll close this discussion now. I thought there would be some people equally interested in consumer affairs but that's obviously not the case. I ordered the items and paid for them on 17/12/18. Millets advertised delivery for Christmas up until 21/12/18. I paid hundreds of pounds for items which I've not received and accusations that I'm trying to profit in some way from this situation are ridiculous.

  • On 17/12/18 I was told the items would be delivered by Xmas and that's why I placed the order. It was hardly a last minute order.

    You can't really close the discussion, it will fizzle out when people lose interest. I don't know what you mean by your second comment. In what way is your situation a consumer affair and why do the comments you've had imply a lack of interest in consumer affairs? It's an unfortunate set of circumstances, sure, but it's equally not completely surprising. No retailer or their delivery systems are perfect and mistakes and delays will happen. What did you want from the thread in the first place? You didn't ask a particular question.
