If it's not broke, don't fix itIt burns well and seems to be working fine.
On the other hand, when it's broke, probably best to get it repaired (or replaced)But I've noticed a crack in the back metal grate

Don't know what stove that is but most tend to need fire bricks. Post a link to your video on the woodburing section of the Green Living Forum
They have quite a few knowledgeable members who maybe able to help you identify the make/model of stove you have,0 -
For your stove to retain as much heat as possible within the firebox (to then radiate into your room), you will need firebricks. These basically line the firebox to offer insulation and slow down the heat transfer into the body of the burner itself.0
