    Not that I'm suggesting that anything like this has happened in this scenario, but I'm wondering if a new kind of fraud is being developed.
    1. order expensive item from company that phones you when the delivery is on the way
    2. verbally give permission to leave it somewhere less than secure if you don't answer the door
    3. sit in car across the road until the item's been left at that location and the van's gone
    4. collect item
    5. contact seller claiming non delivery
    6. deny that you ever agreed item could be delivered anyway but to you personally


    Or delivery man just says he left it...................or someone nicked it??

    Why would they need to sit in a car across the road?
