Thanks very much for your help. I have updated to Mojave, and now seem to have lots of extra space, as I have 36.66 GB free!

More importantly, I should be able to keep my access to Dropbox from April.

    Glad to hear it :T

You can probably free up some more space by deleting the Mojave installer file if it's still hanging about.

Hopefully you are not finding using it is not all that different from Mavericks.

It looks as though the Mojave installer has uninstalled itself, as I can't see it in the list.

I'll see how it goes over the next few days, but it's even kept my wallpaper (which is a picture of Medusa).:)

I've also spent quite some time since GDPR in May this year opting out of all websites tracking me, so I hope I don't have to do that again when I update! I'm using Firefox...

To save doing that, you might want to install an ad-blocker. They can be set to block trackers as well as (or instead of) adverts.

uBlock Origin is a great one for Firefox:

Thanks for the suggestion. I have already installed AdBlock some time ago, but will look into the one you recommend when I get a moment.
