One is £150 more than the other, but the OP would "accept" it (at no extra cost) who's taking the mickey . . ?
Well yes there is no need to try and undertand forum posts and explain the position given the reasoning.
However it is just polite.0 -
The OP only "asked" for such an exchange because he thought that he had the weight of the law behind him. He doesn't.You can easily see why they would ask. If you do not you get nothing.
Why would any retailer choose to replace a faulty discontinued model with a far more expensive up-to date version?
They won't.
The OP has to accept the full refund and is fortunate to obtain a £30 gesture of goodwill in addition.0 -

Yes I agree, have the stating the obvious award for the day.
(All I was doing is being polite in analysing the OP's reasoning and mearly hoping people could be polite instead of barking what we all know in their direction. Manors cost nothing as your mother might have said)0 -

Just give people the respect you would want them to give you.
You say to give other people respect then you come out with the following two comments:Obviously you were brought up in a field.
There is blunt and there is being a supersilious ****.
There is being blunt and in your case, there is being a hypocrite.0 -
