Couldn't agree more - I felt they were asking for ridiculous amount of evidence for me to graduate so they wouldn't get left short if DD2 did a bunk.

I feel it discriminates against those who are from poorer families so it makes me angry, but in the end I just did what they asked to get it done!!

WFH today after a visit to the CAB with DD2 - we're going for UC (ESA) and PIP so you can imagine how draining that was for the poor boy. But hopefully he will start getting the support he needs!!

Other frogs over the weekend are tax returns, changing banks for DS2 and generally tidying up my admin - plus getting a few things on eBAY

3200 steps today - mainly sat in my study working

Not veggie (bought lovely hot chicken from Mr W - but did 2xlunch and 3xsupper - and still a big leg left over)

Not quite a LSD as also got DS aMcD breakfast as we were up early for the CAB

Read a new MFW diary this afternoon - the poster has a set of daily challenges- tidy something, dump something, save something - I might try that.

Good start to the day went for a stroll and did a bit of a Forest Gump. Ended up over 10km and already at 14000 steps. Let’s hope I’m not wiped out as we have busy weekend which is why I was up weekday early

A comment a few posts back is still making me laugh. You commented that there were still vegan meals left but if the vegans weren't go to eat them no one else would. Don't know why but I couldn't stop laughing.

Well done with the steps today.

was a bit tongue in cheek DIA - mainly we don't because we want to have something in the fridge for them - but often its because they are substitutes for meat and cheese, and because I'm not as sound ethically I just eat the real thing

16,300 steps today - most before 9am - was hoping for more on the day, but was mainly watching the tennis and napping

not veggie- left over chicken and then YS meat from M&S

a HSD (high spend day) - shopping at Mr L - and petrol

clean something - started slow made sure the dishes and surfaces were clean

make/save some money - got round to appealing to santanddec for trying to gouge DS2

junk something - not today! - but have been doing quite well in this department but need to keep going

  • 16,300 steps! That's about 7x more than my phone says I've done today :o Liking the tidy/dump/save goals - might steal that idea too :p

  • Thank you kindly, off to lurk... :p
  • I'm going to lurk on that thread too, I aspire to the MFW board, but I don't feel grown up (or solvent) enough to join in there :rotfl:
Vegan meals... where I work on Saturdays, there's an ongoing joke that when reductions are done, the only meals not snapped up are the vegan ones. They always look so flaccid and anaemic :rotfl:
